A safari tour in Zambia is fun, exciting and offer you plenty of great photographic opportunities.
With over 17% of Zambia's land protected as a National Park, the country is one of the last remaining unspoiled safari destinations. Located in the center of Africa, Zambia is land-locked and although two thirds of the country lies in the tropics, the climate is dry.
Imagine......waking up at the crack of dawn to the sound of a multitude of birds and a hot cup of coffee to get you going before you set off.
Your Game Guide leads you deep into the heart of the bush, carefully making your way through the lush vegetation, pointing out the many signs of wild, - spoor of a lion that passed here in the night, elephant tracks, a herd of 10 or more must have been just here, where are they now?
Most of the Game Lodges in Zambia offer a Walking Safari option, taken either in the early morning or late afternoon. Refreshments are served along the way carried by an able porter. All you take is your binoculars, your camera and a sense of wonder..... and a good pair of walking shoes.

Departs Tuesday and Thursday - Minimum age is 12. 2 person minimum
Day 1 - Lusaka
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your lodge. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Lusaka
Overlooking Llechwe Lake, your lodge is a tranquil setting with plenty of plains game to view. You might spend the day relaxing, or opt to participate in some of the activities available at the lodge.

Day 3 - South Luangwa
Transfer to Lusaka Airport this morning for the flight to Mfuwe, where you will be met and transferred to your lodge. Choose from a variety of game activities this afternoon.

A full day at Mfuwe to choose from a variety of game activities available.

Day 6 - South Luangwa-Lusaka
Transfer to the airport for the flight back to Lusaka, where the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 7 - Lusaka-Livingstone (Victoria Falls)
After breakfast, fly to Livingstone where you will be met and transferred to your lodge located on the shores of the Zambezi River. This afternoon, why not opt for a sunset cruise on the river.

Day 8 - Livingstone (Victoria Falls)
Today, travel across the border into Zimbabwe for a tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls, Then, continue to the Traditional Living Village for a tour of local culture. Return to the lodge in time for a late lunch and an afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 - Livingstone-Depart
Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for the flight to Johannesburg, where you connect to your ownward bound flight.
